Co-operation Projects
Bomfuturo NPO looks to co-operation programs with other organizations, institutions and university departments as a central point in its developing strategy.
Co-operation with scientists and researchers is also regarded as a crucial aspect, as it can provide basic elements for a facts and figures approach and useful guide-lines for
- establishing a successful eco-management in the BomFuturo Preserve
- facing and resolving any potential or existing ecological problem affecting the area and more generally the Preserve in its regional context.
Strategic contacts have already been established and single co-operation projects will for instance concern partnership actions with the Pantanal National Park, aiming to pursue some common targets for the National Park’s Buffer Zone, where the BomFuturo Preserve lies.
The Buffer Zone surrounding the Parna Pantanal is of primary importance for the Park itself, as it is home for many species of animals during the rainy season, when most part of the park area is flooded.
